How to change the user name?

The person who set up the mac for me mistook the name for me. And now the name appears almost everywhere. Mail, my other applications...

Does anyone know how to change it?

I'm pretty sure you would have to set up a new account and then delete the old account to have the name changes everywhere.

That would probably be the easiest way.
