How to change times icon bouces in dock?

😕😕 cant figure it out..
seems like mac users like having their dock bounce until the battery dies on their mbps🙂

Not mine.
1. Bounce doesn't last forever, typically only a few bounces while the app launch.
2. It has minimum impact on battery life.

Perhaps you are doing something wrong or you must be running 10.5.38?

The icon in the dock will bounce until you switch to that app. It's just like in Windows where the bar on the task bar blinks.

in mustdie (windows) it bounces 3 times, and than just has the color of the blink if i can say it that way...

You can't change the number of times it bounces. It will stop once the application starts.

The only way is to get more RAM or a faster CPU so that the program loads faster.

Are you talking about the amount of times the icon bounces when the app starts or are you talking about how many times it bounces when the app is trying to get your attention?
