How to change view options for all windows in Leopard?

They took away the "All Windows" option in "View Options". So where do I go if I want all my icon view windows to arrange icons by name without going through every single folder?😕

Just get a Finder window open and then show view options (cmd+j) then select the options you want and press the Use as defaults button

Oh okay. Thanks. I wasn't exactly sure what that button did.

Use as Defaults is kind of buggy, unfortunately; if you have already checked "Always open in <whatever> view" for a folder or set of folders, doing "Use as Defaults" won't apply to them if you select it in an unrelated folder. At least on my computer.

Not sure if if it's a bug or a "feature" yet 🙂
