how to change wmv video to a mac compatible one? (mob, mpg,avi, etc)

I have some videos wmv that I must trnasform into a mac compatible file that could be read.

You can play wmv files on a Mac with the Windows Media Components codec.

Also, if you use Quicktime to watch other videos, download Flip4Mac. It is free, and when you open a .wmv file, it lets you play it with Quicktime (which is the software that came on your mac.)

On a side note, I would suggest downloading Perian, it will give you the ability to open just about any type of video file.
