I have seen an iPhone 4s sealed brand new on eBay, I’ve recently started collecting old iPhones and want to see if the phone is blacklisted, how can I check this? Thanks

If you can get the seller to give you the IMEI NUMBER from the box, you can check it on Swappa. Unfortunately, still no guarantee. Make sure the seller is reputable.

Would this work for the UK also do you know of imei24 is safe to use to check imei?

Or, which ever Carrier you plan on using the phone with, (Assuming the seller provides you the IMEI number), your carrier can/should also verify if it’s blacklisted or not.

[I don’t know if in the U.K if that will work as it does here in the U.S.]
