How do you clean the glass screen? I use water and the microfiber cloth they gave but doesn't really work well. Can I use windex?

I would not advise using windex on your electronics. I prefer a product called WHOOSH for iMac and my iOS devices. Works wonderfully even on the aluminum. https://www.amazon.com/WHOOSH-Scree...ie=UTF8&qid=1481063235&sr=8-1&keywords=Whoosh

Apple retail wipes down its showcase products with a similar solution. Other similar products would work good too. Spray into the microfiber cloth, never directly on the device.

Apple Store experiences can be so weird. I went in to buy some cleaning solution...they used to sell iKlear I think. I asked a floor employee when I could not find anything. The guy was like "you don't need any solution, all you need is a microfiber cloth". So I pointed over his shoulder and said "it looks like you are using some sort of cleaner here in the store". He again said, all I needed was microfiber. So I gave in to this young Jedi and figured I would just buy some microfiber. But they don't sell that either.

yeah. technically all you need is just a microfiber cloth. apple used to give you one with computers. and moshi sell those fancy microfiber cloth (btw, they are really good) and they specifically tell you not to use any solution, only spray water on the cloth and then use it to clean the screen.
and those cleans just as good as those solution.

the reason I use whoosh now is that after cleaning with whoosh the screen feels very smoothy, excellent on iPad/iphone, but doesn't matter on computers. so if you only need to your computer, then just use a microfiber cloth and water. if you want to clean your phone/tablet as well, then I still recommend WHOOSH.
