There is a lot of wax and dust stuck in there, does anyone know how to clean it?

Thank you so much for this advice. I'll get right onto that.
I'm more about cleaning the actual iPhone earpiece, but a good suggestion.

Q-tip and alcohol. Don't apply too much pressure.

Do the ear first and then the phone?

Believe it or not, most medical professionals advise against using q-tips in ears.

So when the OP asks that question, I'll have to answer differently.

Yep. Not good for the ear drums or something like that.

I see this more and more, and it makes me wonder how the hell people are using q-tips. I could not imagine not using them!

To the OP, I regularly just "blow" on the grill and that keeps in clean. If something gets stuck, I just fold a tiny piece of paper and slide it out.

Don't have any alcohol. Will just a Q tip work?

Why not? You can wet it a little too. If you're worried about damaging anything with a qtip it's extremely unlikely.

Maybe one of those interdental toothbrushes or picks, dip in alcohol and use gently.

Just do not damage the screen as it serves to do more than keep wax out!

Just a little brush would do it. Do not use compressed air as it would drive it past the screen.

To be honest, I have never cleaned this screen as I never saw a reason to do so.

Do you have your new iPhone yet? Hope it is the one that makes you happy!
