How To Connect In A Hotel

    Im in a hotel in france atm using a computer there, got my macbook which id rather be using, the wifi here is free, so how do i connect i know the password for the hotel is "Grand" but how do i connect using airport

    some 1 plz help me

    You should click on the Airport icon in your menu bar, which looks like this:

    airport.png

    And a menu should drop down. Select the network you'd like to join and then if so prompted, enter in the p/w.

    sometimes, you need to ask what address you need to point your browser. It's usually an IP number. I've found that many of the hotel networks seem to automatically work on windoze, but you have to manually enter the hotel's wireless connection home page

    Good luck finding someone there who will know what you want...just got back from a trip, and only found the address after my roomie connected with a PC.

    For most hotels I've been to, you simply try to go somewhere in your web browser and it'll kick you to a login page for the hotel network.
