Hi, I'm trying to sync my iphone 4s with macbook pro retina 15 . I can get to the point where I can pair my two devices . But when I try to connect to network on my iPhone, it says "Make sure Macbook pro is turned on and in range."

I was not aware that one could sync via bluetooth, I was under the impression that the options where Wifi or cable
 
sorry, I meant just having my macbook recognize and connect to the same network as my iphone with bluetooth .
