You would have to connect to a wireless network

You could do that at a number of public places, some free, some pay

Or you could set it up at home
But you would need a wireless router

Buy yourself an AirPort Express (Apple product), plug it into the wall, and plug the ethernet cable in. Then connect to it's wireless network. (Apple Network xxxxxxx), You can change that name later.

Call your local internet service provider. A tech rep will walk you through how to set up your wireless network.
