How to control volume?

Hi,

I know the iOS Apple TV remote won’t control the TV speakers volume, but why not BT or Airplay connected speakers?

Is there an app that will do it. Each make of Airplay speakers have an app that controls volume, but it would be nice to have one app that I could use for all makes and the BT speakers. Ideally a universal app. Any one know of one?

Thanks, I didn’t realize the iOS units volume control, controls the exterior volume, when the remote app is open and connected.

When you’ve got the iOS remote active, you can use the iOS device’s volume control buttons to control the volume too
