I am a writer who needs to take articles I have written from the web and convert them into a PDF, then upload them for a project.

With Safari, I go to the web page with my article, press "save as," but there is no PDF option. Instead, it says Export and the name of my article appears.

Then it says Where: I put it in "documents." Don't know if that is correct.

For format I have two choices, Page Source or Web Archive, then save. Don't know which to pick, I'm thinking probably Web Archive. But at any rate, it doesn't convert it to a PDF.

What am I doing wrong? Need to do this immediately!

Many thanks!

Not sure if this is exactly what you want, but you can save as PDF through the Print menu.

Go to: File > Print... (or Command+P)

^This^ is the best native Safari method.

For extra points, you can also make a keyboard shortcut to create a PDF, using the function that BreakGuy suggested. For example: I press the Command and E buttons and they save a PDF to my HDD.
