Resolved How to copy a picture/video from Photos to Finder?

Hi

Is there a way how I can export a file that is in my Photos App? I have some videos and Photos that I would like to share and so I would like to copy these files to a USB-Stick but it is not working with click and drop witch is really annoying.

I hope someone can help me.

Select the items, then File > Export should do it, i don't have the Photos app in front of me at the moment though.

no worries. Menu bar is your friend. Use the search in the Help menu if you cannot find what you are looking for. Happy computing!

Please allow me to add... I found that if you use export, you get today's date and sometimes no exif data. If you drag the file from iPhoto (and I assume the same would be true for Photos though I haven't had a chance to try it yet), you get the original time and date stamp the photo was taken which is very important to me for the way I organize my photos.
