Hi

Is there a way how I can export a file that is in my Photos App? I have some videos and Photos that I would like to share and so I would like to copy these files to a USB-Stick but it is not working with click and drop witch is really annoying.

I hope someone can help me.

Thanks and Kind Regards
Georg

Select the items, then File > Export should do it, i don't have the Photos app in front of me at the moment though.

Thank you very much. It´s my first Mac and I completely forgot about the Menubar on Top of the Screen.

:) no worries. Menu bar is your friend. Use the search in the Help menu if you cannot find what you are looking for. Happy computing!

Please allow me to add... I found that if you use export, you get today's date and sometimes no exif data. If you drag the file from iPhoto (and I assume the same would be true for Photos though I haven't had a chance to try it yet), you get the original time and date stamp the photo was taken which is very important to me for the way I organize my photos.
