how to create a bootable Wndows 10 USB installer on my MBP 2017?

With the 2017 MBP, it wants to repartition the internal SSD which is not something I want to do. I just want to create a Windows USB installer so I can install Windows on a different machine.

On my MBP2010 (which is currenty 1000s miles away), I don't get the option to repartition my drive. I just get the option to create the USB installer + download bootcamp drivers.

Not exactly what you were asking for, but If you just need the Windows drivers, there is an option on the Action menu to download them.

You need access to a Windows (7, 8 or 10) machine to create an bootable USB installer thumb drive, Internet access and, of course, a USB drive.

Straight from Microsoft themselves.

That's how I created a Win Server 2016 for our company. It installs a lot faster than from the DVD drive.
