How to create more finder favorite folders?

i'm referring to the folders when you open finder on the left. the ones that say all my files, air drop, documents, pictures, music, movies etc. how do i make a new folder? thanks

You can just drag a folder onto the sidebar to add it (to remove one, hold down the command key and drag it off).

I don't think it's possible in current versions of OS X, unfortunately. See this thread.

you can change the folder icon in the sidebar.

First you need to change the icon and then drag that folder to the sidebar.
