How to cut video with VLC

No you can't - it is designed for playback, conversion and streaming.

You'll find an edit menu in almost every application. Even if there's not much use for it other than cutting & pasting text into dialogue boxes.

But QT which framework uses VLC don't add automatically this menus as make it Cocoa!

VLC is a video streaming program, you can't edit files with it. 🙁 Try to find other tools for it.
