How to Deactivate my Verizon iPhone

Hey I'm really confused as to how to deactivate my verizon iPhone 4 I got the 4s and my 4 no longer text or makes calls but is there anything else I need to do before i send it off tomorrow morning? I already reformatted it.

You've already confirmed that your iPhone is deactivated. Once you activated the 4s, Verizon's systems already marked it as unactivated. Just do a wipe of your personal info, of course. You'll be fine.
