How to Delete App Store Update

The App Store is telling me I have an update for iPhoto on my MBP. Don't know where this came from because I don't have iPhoto as it hasn't been supported in years. There is no right click option to delete or hide it. How do I get rid of it?

Does it show up under purchases? If so, you can hide it in purchases.

No it doesn't.
[doublepost=1499471110][/doublepost]I figured it out. I found iPhoto with a circle and line through it, in the Applications folder. Of course iPhoto wouldn't open up because it's not compatible with macOS Sierra. I drag and dropped it into the Trash bin and then the iPhoto update disappeared.

Actually, iPhoto is compatible with Sierra as I have been using it under 10.12.5.

You are correct, I should have said that since I have Photos it replaced iPhoto and the two won't work together. Which means I couldn't open it up, to apply that last update.
