Hi,
I hope this is the right place to post this. I couldn't find anything closer than this forum, so Mods if need be, please move to a more appropriate place.
I'm using Linux Mint on a no name PC approx 2008. I use Mint just for internet and it does all I need. My more modern Macs are for Logic and thats all theyre used for. The PC mobo has sata and IDE connectors so Im looking to put the HDD from my old Mac G4 (which is no longer usable) into the PC. Ive already installed it prior some time ago, and tried to wipe it and reformat for a Linux backup but I couldn't reformat it or wipe it. I want to try and revisit this task if possible.
Im wondering if someone can give me some tips on how to do this. I'm a fairly basic Linux user and dont have a super knowledge of the underpinnings of how it all works. Tho Ive been OK installing it and getting around the OS generally, used the CL a little, I'd need a bit of hand holding if I had to use CL for this.
THx for any help.
