How to Delete pics in Photo Stream on Phone?

I cant seem to delete pics on photo stream on the phone which sucks cause it is taking up so much space that its requiring me to buy extra iCloud storage I hope they fix this on an update

there is no facility to delete photos from the photo stream.
you can reset it via icloud.com which will delete everything.

Photo Stream does not take up iCloud space.

It works. You need to reset the photostream at iCloud.com. Then manually turn Off/On photostream on your iOS device to remove the old info.

I do however think you should be able to delete individual photos. I had an issue before where I had taken a couple of basically the same shot. Only 1 of X which I wanted to keep. Sucked having to delete the entire stream.

The reset works... Sort of...

I battled with this for an hour one day because my iPhone was having some issues. (Nothing mentioned anywhere, so I'm just gonna chalk it up to a glitch) Anyways, every time I tried to reset, it said it was unavailable or some such nonsense message. Wait a while and try again. I did. No luck.

After some irritation and web searches on Google, I came across an article that said the reset doesn't work from some IE, FF, and Chrome versions. The only guaranteed way to get the reset to work... Do it from Safari on a Mac. It seemed to indicate that it would work from Safari on Windows, but it didn't go so far as to specifically say it. I went to a Mac where I work, logged in, hit reset, and it worked first try. I went back to Windows, tried and failed again.

They really need a disclaimer on the reset button... 🙄

Yeah, I know the iCloud.com option. However, why the heck should I disable and enable again photostream on my device? Sort of absurd system.

I've said this repeatedly on many other threads concerning this issue. Deleting photos from photo stream would be a great feature. However, photo stream IS NOT AN ALBUM you actively manage. It is just a storage bin of your last 1,000 photos so you can pick and choose which ones to keep (import) on your other devices without the need to connect any wires.

It's no different than the purchased option in the app store. Apps you don't want are still listed, only with photo stream, after awhile, the older photos drop off.

I am able to reset using Safari on Windows 7. IE 9 did not work. Crazy.
