I have some garbage pictures in the System Preferences>Users and Groups>Edit Picture>Recent Pictures. How can i delete them?

Is there a place where the recent pictures are stored, or a preference (plist) to delete?

I'm really frustrated about this, so please help! :(

Delete/Move (move in case you need to move back if problems arise) the contents of the following folder in your User folder:
    Library/Images/iChat Recent Pictures

Just had to clear my recent pictures in Mountain Lion so I figured I'd reply with the location. I deleted everything in Users/{username}/Library/Containers/com.apple.ImageKit.RecentPictureService/Data/Library and that cleared my recent pictures. Hope this helps!

Clear this folder in Mavericks OS.
    /Users/Golf/Library/Containers/com.apple.ImageKit.RecentPictureService/Data/Library/Images
