I store various frequently used items on my desktop.
If I have many windows open, I would like to be able to click on my desktop and all the windows/apps, etc be moved out of the way.
I assume this is an easy fix, but I can't figure out how to set it up.

Thanks for any help

While that is correct for keyboards without media keys, unlike all the keyboards Apple delivered to us since 2008, it will invoke VOLUME DOWN with the newer keyboards.

To the OP: Take a look at System Preferences >>> Spaces & Exposé >>> Exposé >>> Active Screen Corners and set one corner to "SHOW DESKTOP".

You can still hit fn + f11, but setting one corner is definitely easier.
