I got problem with a ant inside my lcd
I will go to apple service center to get my replacement lcd there,
How to differentiate between TFT and LED display,
I just afraid that they replace me with the older TFT display

My MBP is Santa Rosa 2,4 Ghz

Thank you in advance

i'm sure they'd give you the right one..but the only way i can think of to tell is to look at the brightness...the LEDs are much brighter. Also, you can gauge battery life before and after.

They're all TFT (thin-film-transistor). It's the backlights that are different.

Cold-cathode florescent tube verses white LEDs.

The tube won't go to full brightness immediately. Also, they tend to have some variation at the left and right sides. The LEDs go to full brightness with no warmup, and should look more even along the bottom.
