I have a matrox dualHead2Go DP that can't handle the HDCP signals on the DP cable. I recently found a fix for this using a 'defaults write ...' setting. Today I updated OSX SL and lost that setting :( So when I have itunes or quicktime open my mouse is jumping and skipping every few seconds.

does anyone know the relevant setting please. As far as I remember the tipster mentioned it disabled HD playback support in iTunes...

Works Great! Now how do I undo it?

I was looking for a way to use mac computers in a mixed HDCP environment for AV system integration and this was the only solution that addressed the way the mac handled HDCP. I tried it using a HDMI DA to a LG monitor and a Atmos Samurai Blade HDSDI recorder with the HDMI to HDSDI converter option. I could record the desktop and any non-DRM source. So wonderful! Mission accomplished! But now my computer cannot play DRM protected content at all… any thoughts?
