How to disable recent folders on Finder's Right-Click?

After upgrading to Big Sur, I noticed there are additional recent folders that pop-up whenever I right-click Finder.
Just to clarify, I'm not referring to the "Recent Folder" on the sidebar.

I find it rather annoying as I definitely prefer a smaller pop where I can more easily reach "New Finder Window" etc.

Does anyone know if there is a way to disable this?

I believe selecting None under System Preferences > General > Recent Items should remove this. You may have to relaunch the Finder for it to take effect.
