I recently acquired a 17" Powerbook G4, and I wanted use it as a home computer by plugging in a keyboard, mouse, and larger monitor. My question is "is there a way to close the lid on the laptop to where it doesn't sleep, but still displays on the external monitor?" I'm using insomniax as a temporary solution right now, but I didnt know if there was built in method of this. Any info would be great. Thanks

I've closed the lid on my MBAir and MBP while running on my Sony Bravia 40" LCD and continued to operate with my remote and everything runs just fine...
