OMFG this is so annoying! How do I disable smooth scrolling in everything from the Finder to Safari?

EDIT: I found out how, go to Appearances in the Control Panel.

So you're saying you like "rough" scrolling better?

I had no idea there were people who preferred smooth scrolling to be off!

I do not see any difference from it in or off. Anyone mind telling me what it is?

Turn it on, then go to a website which is nice and long, like www.amazon.com and click in the scroll bar on the right. Not on the blue lozenge that moves up and down, but in an area below the blue lozenge. Now compare that to having it off.

It's quite nice when it's smooth, IMO.
