How to downgrade from 5.1 to 5.0.1 on a Mac.

I checked tiny umbrella and I have save shsh blobs for 5.0.1 but everything I found to downgrade is for windows not mac. Is there a way to do this from a mac?

I have a 3gs.

OP must also have the APTicket saved along with hash file (some only have the hash file saved without the APTicket from before TinyUmbrella was updated to capture both).
I believe Redsn0w will let you know if you have both when you try the stitching

This will not work for A5 devices
And when the restore is completed you will see a error -1, use Redsn0w to fix recovery

My problem now is I get the no signal/service and ultrasnow won't work. When I jailbroke I only checked to download cydia should I have checked the other options? I'm on the new bootrom of a 3gs.

Stitching is using redsn0w or sn0wbreeze to bring together in 1 file the IPSW and the SHSH/APticket so you can restore/downgrade 5+ firmware.

Both SHSH and APTikcet need to be saved in order to do it.

Check in redsn0w under EXTRAS/SHSH blobs/Stitch
