how to downgrade?

i have an iPhone 4S that is running iOS 6.0.1 and i want to downgrade to 5.1.1
how do i go about doing this?
i want to downgrade because it is extremely slow now and lags so much. i dont really need the features of iOS 6 and i want the phone to run faster. i need help, please
