How can I download and save an entire thread ( a thread from here for instance ) with attachments for offline viewing ?

I would like it to be searchable. I am running Mavericks.

    Thanks.

You could click "show printable version" then do a command-p and save as PDF to your computer. I don't think that is going to save the attachments though.

Ok thanks. That looks like a good way to save the text but I really need a way to also save the attachments that the text references.

    Any other ideas?

Download and save an entire huge thread with hundreds of pages and images and be able to search and refer to it offline…….

It seems like such a simple and possibly common task (relatively speaking) that I can’t believe there is no easy way to do it.

You could go to the Safari Menu > File > Save as... > Save As Web Archive, but you'll have to do each page separately which might be a problem if the thread goes for 20 pages.
