how to dual boot Ubuntu 9.10 with snow leopard

    Hi i have a macbook pro 5,5 running snow leopard and i would really like to dual boot it with ubuntu 9.10 does anyone know the best way to do this or if ubuntu is compatible with the mac hardware?

    Thanks i will give this a go btw does macbook pro 5,5 support 64 bit OS's?

    It'll have a Core 2 Duo processor, so yes, it will. Older Intel Macs with Core Duo processors are the ones that do not support 64 bit.
