How to edit html files?

Look i have a web design class and i have to do a lot of webpage editing and making them. But my mac wont let me save the webpages with .html it says i have to do .rwm or something.

If you can please help.

Use TextWrangler and save it with the extension .html.

Looks like it may have been RapidWeaver. You can use any text editor to edit and create HTML files as they are just plain text.
