    It's easy.

    1. Take any folder
    2. Make an alias
    3. Drag the alias onto the dock

When you click on the icon in the dock, it should take you straight to the folder.

At least on mine, command click takes me to the location of the folder. An alias takes you to the contents of the folder.

Any idea how you can drag and drop a file on an aliased folder?

When I get my replacement video card, I'll give that a shot. Killed my X800 XT, so I wait  Thanks for the tip.
