    Hi,
I have a 1440 screen recording master video and did some video editing in iMovie. The problem is that iMovie lets me export only at max 1080 resolution.

    File properties:

    iMovie Settings:

    iMovie export options:

how can I export it in 1440p ?

    cheers,
    Tex

Pretty sure that you can only use the ones shown, although you can use 4K. Which version of iMovie are you using? I don't recognise those Screenshots.

    It was using iMovie 10.1.5

Those screenshots were taking in the project settings:

And in the File > Share > File ... menu

I actually ended up using Final Cut Pro where it's possible to set a custom 2K resolution:

Thanks for that. Didn't know it was there.
