    I need to extract the photos from my contacts. Anyone know how to do this. Or a good software that will give me versatility in exporting all the contact data? Primarily, I need to save the photos to a folder or somewhere.

    Not 100% sure if this is the solution you're looking for, but;

    Images for your contacts that are in your Address Book can be found at:
    ~/Library/Images/People/
    (where ~ represents your Home directory)

    Then copy and paste to whatever folder you need them to be in.

    I feel like a nOOBe here, but I still can't get it??? I googled for the home directory, and came up with users/myname/ but there's no folder called Librarys/Images...
    Browsing thru the explorer, or Finder as it's called, any folder I came across called Librarys did not have a folder in it called Images...
    The search box has failed me too.
    sorry, I'm new at this.

    Ok. When I open up finer and click on my house with my name next to it, I get the same view you get, only I have Dropbox listed there, and I don't have 'Library' listed there???
    ...but I've got lots of contacts, and many with pictures...
    Is there some hidden files I need to turn on?

    ----------

    Ps. I'm running mac os x 10.7.2
    2.4 ghz intel core due 2

    ----------

    Finder -> Go To -> Cold Option key and you'll see the "Library" entry.

    Found this...
    Got it. Thanks!
