how to export sms to my pc?

    hi all,
    i m lookiing for a way to export all my text messeges to my pc (windows 7) in a readable mode.
    i m not talking about the itunes backup but a file that i can read from my pc, regardless of apple products.
    something like an excel spreadsheet that contains all messeges.
    can anyone help?
