How to facetime with overseas? Need 011, "+"?

Could any one tell me how to facetime from the US to overseas (Hong Kong)? When I make a regular voice call, I would dial 011 852 xxxx xxxx. When I try facetime, how should I set up my friend's phone number in address book?

- just the country code and 8 digital: 852 xxxx xxxx, or
- 011 852 xxxx xxxx, or
- with the + sign: +011 852 xxxx xxxx

I tried all 3 and none seemed to work 🙁

facetime i cannot advise you on. on a cell phone + is = to 011. "+011" is redundant and shouldnt work. its either + or 011.
