How to find a serial number

I purchased a desktop G5 from a university in Aus which came pre loaded with a heap of programs including Adobe CS2. I have bought an upgrade to CS3 but i need the serial number used to install CS2 before it will let me upgrade. Seeing as the program was already installed, is there any way to find that number in the folder directories or do i need to call the university to obtain it?

There is no way...call the University.
