If I wanted to post on a forum a picture I need to have the image text and use that to insert the image itself.

How do I get the image text from iPhoto, Photobooth, and Preview?

I mean, how do I imbed a picture right into a forum post instead of attaching it as a link?

yes but that is a link to a picture online. I'm wondering about pictures on my computer like in iPhoto, Photobooth, and Preview.

If it's on your computer, how could we see it? It has to be on the web somewhere, either as an attachment to your post or served somewhere else. There's no other way.
