Hello!
I hope this is a good place for this question. As the title says, I would like to know how to find out which apps are using swap.
I'm on an M1 Mac mini with 16GB of memory and it will often use a little bit of swap (around 50-100 MB) even though there are not many apps open.

I suspect it might be WhatsApp because that seems to be the only Intel app I have running and I read that stuff running via Rosetta is more likely to use swap.

So, is there a way to find out which specific app/s is/are using swap?

Look at Activity Monitor. It should show which apps are using RAM for caching and which are actively using how much of it. It'll give you an idea what apps are pushing into Swap.
