I think that my internet connection (uni) requires proxy, because the browser would not resolve anything until i check autoproxy discovery, for both wireless and wired connections. I was wondering if there is a way to find out which proxy server and port are being used. My computer is macbook pro and the system is Lion. Many thanks in advance!:apple:
 
I'm not familiar with proxies but what first comes to mind is to see the output of netstat. A traceroute can help narrow down which host it is.
