i have a 15in powerbook titanium and sometimes my fan makes wierd noises.
Sometimes it whistle, sometimes it makes a zinging/squeaking or ticking sound.

how can i fix this or what may be the problem?
also how many fans does it have?
what should i try doing?

I know with my Windows rig, this happens when either the fan on either the CPU/heatsink or the PSU is dying or is dirty. If you're up to it, you can try to take it apart and see how dirty (by the dust) it is.

yea i would agree with ^that guy, if your up to it, take it apart and maybe all it needs is a good dusting. Or even if the fans are bad atleast its open and maybe you could try and replace them... goodluck
