Hello, I’m wondering if anyone has a Mac bios for the nvidia quadro K6000 GPU? I know that the nvidia quadro K5000 and older K quadro cards do but I’m. It sure about the K5200 8gb or the nvidia k6000 12gb I know how to flash them. I just a Mac efi bios. Or do I just have to use open core?

Only real MacPros needed MacEFI flashed CPUs for pre-boot configuration support, hackintoshes don't need it at all - I saw your X58 hack post.

Anyway, OpenCore removed the need of GPU flashing for all UEFI GOP supported GPUs (UEFI 2.3.1d was ratified back in 2013, most GPUs released after that are already UEFI GOP compatible from factory or have firmware updates that make it compatible).

I already own an NVIDIA Quadro K5000 "For Mac". Today I've just acquired an NVIDIA Quadro K5200. Now I will need to flash it to work in one of my Mac Pros. I haven't flashed before! Any specific or general advice please?

GK110B (any GTX 780 based GPUs like the Quadro 5200) cards are not self-flashing cards, there are no public firmware for these cards.

I now have two Quadro K5000 cards, but the Quadro K5200 languishes in a drawer. I was attracted to the latter due to its eight Gb of memory and I had the impression someone made it work (?). Is there any way to get this working in the cMP or should I attempt to resell? Thanks!

You don't need to flash a GPU for it to work with a Mac Pro. You flash a GPU to have pre-boot configuration support.

If you need a GPU with pre-boot configuration support, I can reconstruct your BootROM image and add EnableGop to it, then most GPUs made after 2013 (UEFI GOP GPUs) will work with BootPicker/Boot Screens and etc.
Hey @tsialex this the same problem I have as I have non-flashed card so unable to see the boot picker to install open core - any help with this would be appreciated 👍

My BootROM reconstruction service repairs/fully upgrade/inject EnableGop, so, after that is just a matter of getting a PC UEFI GOP compatible GPU, like a RX 4xx/5xx.

I’ve sent you a PM with the BootROM service fee, files required and the turnaround time.
I could also use this! Picked up a K5000 hoping to just be able to flash it and can't seem to find a bios that lets me have a boot screen
