Hi All -

I'm trying to move my iTunes Library to my External Hard Drive. Here are the steps I'm following -

1) Move entire iTunes folder to External Hard Drive.
2) WHAT NEXT? Lol

What do I do next so iTunes doesn't create a new folder in the spot I originally had it but instead opens it from where the External HD is located? I'd like to move EVERYTHING ---not just the media.

Thanks!

The process is quite simple. First, be sure that iTunes isn't running when you move your library.
Then, once the folder is copied to where you want it, hold down the option key and start up iTunes. You'll be prompted to choose your library, and then just point iTunes to the library on the external drive.
