I have Comcast and installed the Profile so my iPhone would connect to all Comcast WiFi hotspots automatically. However I run and listen to music and every time it connects to one of the Comcast WiFi’s my music stops and I must stop and hit play to restart the music app. I deleted the Comcast Profile but it still connects (and stops music) to them as I’m running. Is there a way to ‘forget’ all Comcast WiFi hotspots? It is inconvenient to cut off WiFi and them remember to cut back on again for every run.

On MacOS you could delete them in System Preferences/Network/Wi-Fi-->Advanced. They are syncing via iCloud provided you have iCloud Keychain on.

When it connects, look and see if you see the wifi symbol on your phone. If so, go to settings, wifi, the "i" on the comcast wifi, then go down to "Forget this..." If you dont' see forget this, you may be able to turn off "Auto-Join".

Thanks, I do have iCloud sync on. I deleted the Xfinity (Comcast) WiFi. I hope this deletes all of them.

I did this on a few but it seems it must be done on each individual hotspot since it keeps connecting to others as I pass them. I also have Auto Join off but it sees them as 'known' WiFi's and auto connects.

That's somewhat odd as they are all named the same thing as I recall, so forgetting one would/should apply to all of them essentially.

I do the MacOS thing but it would be great if IOS had a similar feature where you can see and delete WIFI spots. I travel so have hotel ones that I forget to delete before I leave and if you aren't connected to it in IOS you can't forget it.

There's a profile that Xfinity installs when you register for their hotspot service, which recognizes Xfinity Wifi, XFINITY, and Cable Wifi SSIDs. Delete the profile and restart.

Does Settings, General, Reset, Reset Network Settings fix your issue?

It will erase all known WiFi networks. Not sure how the iCloud sync factors with it.

Delete profile.

Tap Forget This Network in Settings > Wi-Fi > networkName. Repeat for each network.

Go here to deregister your devices from Xfinity Wifi hotspots.
