I had a WD Mybook NAS server connected automatically to the mac on boot up, but the WD has since died a sad death and now when I boot up I get a message box popping up saying I cant connect to it.

It doesnt appear in Finder so Im really unsure how I go about telling the mac its gone and will never come back!

Anyone know how I can stop this pop up box / stop the mac looking for it?

Thanks

Remove the dead NAS from login items (under accounts in system preferences). That should do the trick.
