I don't know if this is the proper place to ask this question but I can't find better section in this forum.

I use an android phone which means it works really badly with a Mac. One thing you can't get rid of is that when a notification comes to android it doesn't show up on your mac as yosemite did to iPhone. So I use google chrome and I installed a software called "Pushbullet", it basically does one thing: forward the notification your android phone gets to your chrome browser and if you keep the browser running (even in the background) you will be able to see these notifications.

But there comes troubles. I usually use safari as main browser and one thing I don't like about chrome is, it take up the CPU usage so high so that I never open chrome if its unnecessary. So Im wondering if it is possible to forward the notifications chrome gets to Mac's own notification center? and since I don't like chrome running in background is this possible to do it even when chrome is shut down?

I hate android phone I will definitely buy an iPhone if I have money.

What kind of notifications are we talking about here? What apps? Are there substitutes, or comparable Mac apps that you can install on the Mac directly to pull down the same information?

The app has to take advantage of the notification center there's nothing that can be done to make it happen.
