How to free up HD space

Hi, how do I find space to free up on the HD besides applications. I know there are things to do but not sure where to look. I surf the web quite a bit. Any suggestion on where and what to delete?

The most you can free up would be a gigabyte or so by removing drivers and language packs. If that much really matters you should probably just consider getting a new hard drive in this day and age.

Here's some information on an application I find useful for finding where all your disk space has gone. The nice thing about this is it shows FOLDERS with lots of stuff in them, not just giant files like your videos.
