I've got 2 iPhones. Both iPhones are on 7.0.4. On the one iPhone I did an update and got 7.0.6. I've saved the 7.0.6 install file. I did this via iTunes. I then did a JB with evasi0n and that worked ok.
I now wanted to do the same with the other iPhone but now it says 7.1.
How can I load 7.0.6 on my iPhone that has 7.0.4 and not 7.1?

Much abliged for some hints.

If Apple is still signing iOS 7.0.6 then you can go to a third party website, download the correct 7.0.6 IPSW, hold down shift and click on check for update in iTunes, if Apple is still signing 7.0.6 then it should let you update. If you get error 3194, this means Apple is no longer signing 7.0.6 and bellow and you are out of luck.

Apple stopped signing 7.0.6 at about 2:20 PM EST, long before poster asked this question.

That was a bummer. Thought that one would have at least a day or 2 before they stopped signing 7.0.6. Oh well will wait until 7.1 JB or whatever release/version.

Thank you all for your replies.

Dang! I updated to 7.0.6 OTA when it came out, but I've read that I need to restore to that firmware in iTunes before jailbreaking. I guess that I'm out of luck until 7.1 is jailbroken.

Tried the jailbreak twice but no luck. The jailbreak went through the entire process without any apparent errors, but cydia was not installed.

Thats wired, i thought when OTA jailbreaks happened when they do fail you have to restore, if they go through then it was successful and you're jailbroken. I have OTA jailbroke multi-able times successfully BTW.
