How to get an @me.com email address?

I was wondering how to get an @me.com account/address. I've been wanting to get <myname>@me.com…any help would be appreciated.

Not sure you can right now. I think they shut down registration for me.com, and iCloud.com is still in beta until the end of October. Most likely you'll sign up at iCloud.com (presumably can still select a @me.com email there) but not until it's out of beta.

You do it by setting up an iCloud account in iOS5. It's in the Settings.

That's how I got mine, though I did it during the beta.

You can do it from the MobileMe/icloud settings in os x or going to iCloud.com as well. Just click on any feature that requires MobileMe/icloud like idisk or any of that stuff in Mac OS x and it will say you need an account and ask if you want to create one.

I went to iCloud.com and it doesn't give me the ability to click on one of the features, the sign in box is on top.

Thats a link to setting up iCloud on a mac. Just go to sys prefs and although i can't verify it because i already had a MobileMe account, When it asks for your apple id it should give you the option to create a new account. PM me if you need more help but i don't respond and ill shoot you my email address.
